How We’ll Work Together
Financial counseling helps you understand your finances, clarify goals, and build practical systems for spending, saving, and debt repayment. You make and implement your own decisions. Steven does not recommend investments or asset allocations, sell financial or insurance products, negotiate with creditors, act for you in credit-report disputes, or provide tax or legal advice. When a question falls outside his scope, he will help you identify an appropriate professional.
Building a Financial Life of Your Own: $795/Package
Book a series of three 90-minute sessions with Steven to build the knowledge and confidence to manage your finances independently for the first time or after a relationship has run its course.
Through financial counseling and education, your three sessions will focus on taking inventory of your current finances, clarifying your values and goals for your desired future, and developing a practical plan for managing money on your own.
Additional accountability or follow-up sessions can be added if desired.
90 Minute Financial Goal Setting Session: $350/Session
Book an appointment with Steven to clarify your financial goals as you respond to or plan for changes at work and in life. Through coaching and education, he’ll help you clarify what is most important to you and the lifestyle you want to achieve, estimate future financial needs, and assess your current progress.
We’ll develop an illustrative estimate using the goals and assumptions we agree to document. Your summary will identify those assumptions and important limitations. It is a tool for discussion and future decisions, rather than a prediction or investment recommendation.
60 Minute Money Management Essentials: $259/Session
Get a clearer picture of where your finances stand today. Choose a focused session on cash flow, spending, debt, or net worth.
With Steven’s coaching and guidance, you’ll create a simple snapshot of your chosen area, understand what it shows, and identify practical next steps and tools you can use on your own. Each session is aimed at a point-in-time assessment.
Money Management System: $239/Hour
Build a clear system for organizing your money. With Steven’s support, you’ll take inventory of your existing accounts and identify opportunities to simplify or automate how you manage them.
Together, you’ll map how income flows through your accounts to cover spending, build savings, and set aside money for investing, all using accounts and institutions of your choosing.
This work typically takes 90–120 minutes. The rate is $239/hour, billed in 30 minute increments. Before we begin, we’ll agree on estimated initial amount of time and how additional time will be approved.
